Men's Open Defeats Team USA 4-1 to Advance to Gold Medal Game

Canada's Men's Open team is going to the gold medal game!

Canada defeated Team USA 4-1 in the 1 vs. 2 game at Ma'or on Friday. Canada scored a run in the 1st on a two-out RBI single by Paul Foucault Jr., and added another run in the 2nd on an RBI single by Randy Hoffman. With Jason Dinetz pitching out of a few jams in the middle and late innings, Team Canada tacked on another run in the 5th on an RBI double by Rob Bohbot and another insurance marker in the 6th on a sacrifice fly to left by Hoffman that scored Jacob Osterer from third base.

Dinetz went on to pitch a complete game for Canada to earn the victory.

Canada will face the winner of Israel/USA on Sunday at Gezer at 7:30pm local/12:30pm ET.
